I dont know. I have tried to debug this, but its some level of 
concurrency problem. It could be the SQL-conections, but after major 
rewrites , sql-pooling techniques and changes in drivers and sql-server 
configs the problem is still there. At the end there are thousands of 
TCP-connections waiting to be served. Last week I shut down the search 
server at 8080 because there was some chinease company trying to 
dumb-harvest all the search pages.

The new server I am writing is disconnected from moin. It filters URL 
patterns to use moin for wiki stuff only. It can also do basic DOS 
filtering.
