Off course, I think you can get a good idea from the discussions in the
list archive. We have a specific problem with performance since we lack
a connection-pool in twisted. So each new request starts a new
sql-process. This could be fixed by using the twisted api, but I dont
understand how to use the spawning call-back response in the
enterpise-api/pool-api.

The other issue is just the sheer size of the text-fields within the
Patents table that we figure could be better stored as files instead.
