Where is the actual machine located now, is it at Jonas' place?
I have an unused 160 Gb IDE-disk (Maxtor DiamondMax) which could
be put into the machine.

I guess we should aim for reiser4, with it's impressive speeds

but I assume for a production machine as gauss we should wait
with reiser4 until it has been out for a while.

Anyway, it would be easy to change the scsi-disk to reiserfs
with the ide disk in place.

I could help with the physical work soon, possibly this
weekend, but not before.
