Yep, should we perhaps move the alias to gauss, so that all admins can 
change it?

Yep. Me. Some settings dont require restart and others where not needed 
since you found that autocommit setting.

Btw Alexandre asked about regular dumps of the db and I think we should 
do somethings about that. Anyone with a server, space and good 
internet-speed we could mirror to?
