Gauss is a bubble separate from patdb in many aspects, but mostly for 
organizational reasons. It has been so from the start.

Please don t stack projects unless the work flow is static to its 
parent. I think, I speak for most if the gauss-crew when I say that we 
are open to all kinds of networking schemes with other projects, but 
prefer to regulate this our selfs. Please don t create constraints on us 
or the development platform.
