[Cjk] Non-default Korean fonts

Ok, I updated the updmap.cfg file (fyi, MikTeX has it in texmf/miktex/config) and included the two .map files (which I deposited in texmf/fonts/map/dvips, as well as .../map/dvipdfm and .../map/pdftex for good measure). Also fyi, you can just run updmap directly, but MikTeX has an "Options" program in which you can refresh the filename database and update format files.
I've managed to get it working now (though only after depositing the .map files in the /dvipdfm and /pdftex folders). Success!!! Many thanks for all your patience (putting up with my dumb newbie questions) and help.
